Information collected automatically
- Photos/Images — images you upload for fault code analysis. These are processed by our AI service to generate a diagnosis and are stored to maintain your scan history.
- Appliance descriptions — any optional text you provide alongside a photo to improve diagnosis accuracy.
- Scan history — the results of your diagnoses, including appliance type, error codes, and AI-generated repair guidance.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect only to:
- Provide the core app functionality (analysing appliance fault codes)
- Save and display your personal scan history
- Associate your scans with your account so you can access them later
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app.
4. Third-Party Services
Fix My Beep uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Base44 — our app platform, which handles authentication, data storage, and infrastructure.
- AI model providers — your uploaded images and descriptions are sent to an AI service for analysis. Images are used solely to generate a repair diagnosis and are not used to train AI models or shared with any other party.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
5. Data Retention
Your scan history is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile tab within the app.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
7. Children’s Privacy
Fix My Beep is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
